Christian men, you can NOT outsource your duty to protect your family. Period.

You can NOT use the “I’ll call A MAN (911) to rescue us if in trouble” excuse. BE THE MAN!

You are the man God has given the duty to.

Protect your children. Mind, body, and soul. Period.

No more excuses. Protect them.

If your children’s school does not have security in place, REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY and PROTECT THEM! Obviously the school administration is mentally ill if they think a NO GUNS sticker will magically protect your children.

KEEP: TO PROTECT AS A SWORD-BEARER

In “Genesis 2:15, we learn how man is to fulfill his calling: ‘The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.’ … Work. THE GOOD NEWS

There is a God that created the heavens and the earth. We humans are created in His image.

We are sinners, we have rebelled against Him, our Creator. Our rebellion has brought “all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice… envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness” to the world. Romans 1:29-31 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/rom.1.29-31.ESV

Therefore we justly deserve our due punishment of death and damnation, “as it is written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. Household Prayer: Hope, Courage, and the Church in Ukraine

“Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. …” Psalm 27:1, 3, 13-14

Brothers today I am praying for hope and courage. I am praying for the Church in Ukraine. I pray that we would focus our eyes and hearts on our God of hope “without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” (Heb. 10:23)

I pray we are motivated to manage our households well, to be prophet, priest, provider, and protector. May our households be filled with the word of God and prayer and “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Rom. 15:13 )

Times of war are nothing new for the Church over the last 2000 years. Jesus warned we “will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.” (Matt. 24:6) Don’t be alarmed. God is still on the throne. Jesus is still the way the truth and the life! Fear not!

Ukraine civilians in military training amid the Russian threat is the exact reason why we have the second amendment.

The biggest lie about the second amendment is that it is about hunting.

The second amendment is about DEFENSE.

It can be the defense against a wild animal, another person, or a tyrannical government (foreign or domestic).

Instead of scrambling last minute to get people trained on basics like how to operate a rifle, imagine having an entire population of people with their own guns.

Also, imagine them having the ability to shoot them effectively because they’ve already been owning and using them for decades.

It doesn’t matter what you “Think” the Militia is.

You’re going to be damn glad that you had a gun to protect yourself with instead of running to the government asking for one last minute.
That’s if you even get the chance to do that, or the very government you’re asking for a gun isn’t the same government you’re trying to defend against.

Household Prayer: Church in China, Communist Captives, Advance the Kingdom

Brothers I am praying for the Church in China today and that we would not take our freedoms for granted here in America. I pray we would put away any idols and live for Christ (2 Cor. 5:15) building Godly households (Gen. 18:19) and work to advance the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth (Matt. 28:19) as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:10) until it has leavened the whole world (Matt. 13:33). the point of Genesis 2:8 is that God has put the man into the garden, into the world of covenantal relationships and duties, in order to gain and act out his God-given identity there… Adam was put in the garden to be its lord and servant. Adam was to bring glory to God by devoting himself to bearing God’s fruit, starting in the garden and extending outward to all of creation. For this reason, Adam was God’s assistant lord, exercising authority over creation: “Subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen. 1:28)… he was to be lord and keeper of God’s created realm, bringing glory to the Creator as he sought to bear the image of God in servant faithfulness…

In “Genesis 2:15, we learn how man is to fulfill his calling: ‘The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.’ … Work. To work is to labor to make things grow… Keep. To keep is to protect and to sustain progress already achieved…

“God calls us to bear His image in the real world, in this garden that has become corrupted by sin but is being redeemed by the power of God’s grace in Christ. WORK: TO CULTIVATE AS A GARDENER

South Africa – Lesson on Community Defense – Household Defense

Brothers, today I’m praying for our households. Praying that we would be set apart and dependent on the Lord in community with our church, including our CC community.

The link below is a video reviewing the diary of a young man and his household from the 1800s with a lesson for us as men today. I find it fascinating and inspiring. My personal family vision is to leave a Godly legacy. Working that out over the last 16 years has evolved into the practical theology of building a Godly household. I’ve spent the last 2-3 years considering what a Godly household is from Scripture. Some thoughts on it are to be “set apart” (holy, set apart for God) and “dependent on no one” (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12). To be builders and producers. To be fruitful, fill the earth, and take dominion (Gen. 1:28; Gen. 2:15; Gen. 14:4; Gen. 18:19; Jeremiah 29:4-7; Matt. 28:18-20). I have a long way to go. I hope the video is encouraging to you as well.

Lastly, stepping out of my comfort zone here, but the Federal Government can’t keep borrowing/printing money without consequence. The Bill will come due!

This was one of my big griefs with churches that took the “covid” money, the money used to back that program was stolen from future generations of Americans.

Some terms

Exchange
Service to buy, sell, trade crypto. There are transaction fees for exchanging fiat currency to/from crypto, just like exchanging the dollar to/from the euro.
Examples: coinbase.com, binance, kraken

I actually use multiple exchanges. Some exchanges will exchange certain cryptos that others won’t.

Wallet
Used to store crypto

Web wallet
Wallet hosted on/at a website. exchanges by default are also a web wallet. In general, though, funds should NEVER be stored at/on an exchange. Exchanges should be utilized only for transferring or trading funds; when at rest, all funds should be stored in a local wallet.

App wallet
Wallet based on a phone app. Practical application for storing what “spending” crypto you want to have on hand. Just like a physical wallet in your pocket while walking around, how much you keep in your app wallet is based on what you might need to spend, and what an acceptable loss would be if it were stolen.
Examples: Atomic or Exodus multi-exchange wallets

Note: web and app wallets are under control of outside forces. The exchange or app owner or service providers could block or restrict access. Service outages could prevent access, etc…

Software wallet
Software application on your desktop/laptop. Like your checking account. Safer medium term storage of crypto likely to be moved around for buying, selling, trading, etc…

Hardware wallet
A device for high security long term storage. Like a savings account, or better yet, a safe deposit box.
Examples: Ledger nano x, trezor, coldcardwallet

Note: search for the exchange and wallets that hold the coins you want to hold.

Paying/Buying/Selling Transactions

Your wallet will have receive/send or deposit/withdrawal functions.

If you are paying (sending/withdrawing) with crypto, it will ask what address to send to, you just get that from the recipient. The address is a long string of numbers and letters or a QR code.

Same thing to receive a payment (receive/deposit). Your wallet will give you a list of addresses, choose one and send it (chat, text, email, etc…) to the payer, and they just paste it into their paying function in their wallet.

Thats it!

Note: There are many, many cautions to double verify the address you are sending crypto too! Once you send it you can’t get it back! Don’t fall for phishing/spam messages.

Staking and rewards

Some block chains have utility beyond crypto currency, like Cardano (ADA), and you can “stake” your wallet to earn rewards.
