American Constitution
AMENDMENT II 
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Militia: an army composed of citizens… called up in time of emergency. (Webster’s 2010)

There are four places in the American Constitution that affirm the Militia’s prior existence, and no law can alter it. The militia is all able bodied members of a community.

Household Prayer: vocation

Brothers, I read Ps. 144 in my morning reading, and the historical note for Ps. 144:1 in The Founders Bible is about talents and giftings (including the soldier). With a 16 yo planning college visits it has me praying about vocation. I pray we help our children identify and nurture their gifts and talents and disciple them to use them for God’s glory.

Brothers, I am praying from my morning scripture reading today (Acts 16:31-33) that our households would be filled with the truth, grace, gospel, and glory of God unto salvation. May revival start with belief, faithfulness, and obedience in our homes, oh God.

Brothers today I am praying for energy and courage to be a good and faithful servant. Lord help us to be good and faithful servants (Mt. 24:45,46 Mt. 25:21), making disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:18-20) and laboring to build Godly households, communities, businesses, and institutions (Mt. 5:13-16) to carry out our mission for the next 100, 1000, 10,000 generations or until Your return, King Jesus! Proverbs for Parents as Teachers…

Instill Confidence

• Proverbs 1:10: “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.”

• Proverbs 1:15: “my son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths.”

• I encourage you to speak words of affirmation and blessings over your family, friends, and neighbors as you work to instill confidence in your children and grandchildren.

Take and Receive Correction

• Proverbs 3:1: “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments.”

• Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

• Proverbs 3:11: “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof.”

• To give, take, and receive correction requires humility of both the giver and the recipient of correction. Ask the Lord to give you humility and a teachable spirit.

Say No to Temptation

• Proverbs 4:14-15: “Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on.”

• Telling a child “no” without giving a reason does not bear good fruit. As a parent, encourage your child and help them to develop courage. It helps if you speak with them about the consequences of temptation and following evil ways. Teach them God’s Word and the blessing found in obedience to it. Be clear in your reasoning for why we say no to evil and yes to God. Let them know that you are not trying to keep them from something but for something. When we were teaching our sons about saying no to temptation, we shared with them that they need to decide now to refrain from drugs, premarital sex, and other temptations before the temptation arises. While we taught them right from wrong, we knew it needed to be a discussion, and that it would ultimately need to be their decision to say no.

Demonstrate Commitment

Household Prayer: Raise up Godly generations


Brothers, I’m praying as Pastor Hunt, the Jamestown Chaplain did in 1607, that we raise up Godly generations to “take the Kingdom of God to all the earth” and dedicate the land “to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” As the people of Christ we have a mission and a purpose. To know God and make Him known. Praise God!

Brothers, the first few weeks getting back into school in our household can be a bit chaotic. I’m praying today for peace, joy, and purpose. I pray that a purposeful, peaceful, and joyful home would bear witness to the hope that is in us, our Savior Jesus Christ! I also pray that peace, joy, and purpose would endure as part of our household, CC community, and church culture. Blessing, brothers.

What do we do? Pray! -and- We must, by all means, support local farmers and livestock producers! 

Confess and repent of sin. Worship the one true God. Declare His glory among the nations. Take dominion and make disciples of all nations!

Chose to buy meat and produce from local producers. 

Buy local! It may cost a little more than Walmart or Amazon, but consider:
* it is an investment in your neighbor, showing your love toward them 
* it is an investment in your liberty and the liberty of your children and their children!
* It is an investment in your health. Knowing where your food comes from and how it is produced 

Share local resources with your church fellowship so whole local fellowships support and pray for local food producers. Perhaps start local food banks and soup kitchens.

Even more so if they are brothers in the faith. If they are in a local church fellowship, then rejoice in paying them a true and fair price that they may prosper and be a blessing to the community.

Pray for their well being and success, and let them know you are praying for them. 

Start a garden.

Inform your civil magistrate, who is under the authority of Jesus (Romans 13:1,4).

Urge civil magistrates (county board, mayor, governor) to support and protect local agriculture, farms, and livestock producers. Ask your local, state, and national representatives to protect them! As God’s minister they must be informed by the Church of God’s truth and grace. And what is the Church but we the living stones! 

If you love your neighbor and do not want to see them fall victim to these wicked schemes of total global control, population control, and mass starvation, then you must be be involved!

I don’t think anyone denies that the climate is changing. The climate does change. It may even change wildly over hundreds and thousands of years like the magnetic poles. I do deny the elites of globalism like the UN and WEF that promise to “fix” the climate if we allow them to take away our personal liberty and property. That is a sin.
