Brothers, I am praying from my morning scripture reading today (Acts 16:31-33) that our households would be filled with the truth, grace, gospel, and glory of God unto salvation. May revival start with belief, faithfulness, and obedience in our homes, oh God.
“And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.” Acts 16:31-33 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/act.16.31-33.ESV
“The godly fathers create the environment where a wife is free to enjoy motherhood He provides the home with the tools she needs to do her job. He also provides authority, so all the children know that mom will be honored—and any dishonor will be swiftly dealt with. And he provides vision for the future of the home. What is it all leading to? Where are we going, and how are we going to get there? This is what enables a good wife to transform a mere house into a vibrant home. An empowered and well-resourced home-keeper is an amazing thing to behold! This isn’t easy. Especially in the modern day, doing these things is very difficult, and takes time and patience, trial and error. It’s not a switch that you flip. It’s a labor of love that you invest in every day. There are dead ends and detours, missteps and setbacks. But this is the goal we work towards.”
Brothers today I am praying for energy and courage to be a good and faithful servant. Lord help us to be good and faithful servants (Mt. 24:45,46 Mt. 25:21), making disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:18-20) and laboring to build Godly households, communities, businesses, and institutions (Mt. 5:13-16) to carry out our mission for the next 100, 1000, 10,000 generations or until Your return, King Jesus! Let it never be said of us, “What had become of their faith so that it was now so flabby and unable to stand against the enemies of God in their time?” pg 42 Letter to the American Church
““Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.” Matthew 24:45-46 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/mat.24.45-46.ESV
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’” Matthew 25:21 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/mat.25.21.ESV
FRC: Pray Vote Stand Pledge
“The future of America is in the hands of Christian men and women who will commit to PRAY, VOTE, and STAND for biblical principles to guide our nation. As a follower of Christ led by the Spirit of God and anchored in the Word of God, I commit to advocate and advance biblical truth in my home, workplace, school, church, community, and nation.”
How about this, not as an endorsement of this particular ministry, but as an example for organizing and kingdom building…
“It might not be long before speaking Biblical Truth will land you in a jail cell… Time is short. But at least for now, there remains a narrow opportunity before us to take a stand, to speak openly, to exercise our God-given freedoms, and to see the lost saved from hell. We must seize the opportunity at hand — storming Satan’s stronghold and invading his territory. We need to go on the offensive and do it in the name of Jesus, who said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me (Matthew 28:18)” Leading the Way: Evangelistic Celebrations https://us16.campaign-archive.com/?e=38fcb66caa&u=a3bed5be4843ac180b2b30e35&id=5f7b1314f1

THE GOOD NEWS
There is a God that created the heavens and the earth. We humans are created in His image.
We are sinners, we have rebelled against Him, our Creator. Our rebellion has brought “all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice… envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness” to the world. Romans 1:29-31 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/rom.1.29-31.ESV
Therefore we justly deserve our due punishment of death and damnation, “as it is written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.’” Romans 3:10-12 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/rom.3.10-12.ESV
But good news! God is merciful and loving. Jesus is God the only begotten Son and He took our punishment upon Himself in our place. Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and securing the hope of our salvation.
“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/1co.15.3-8.ESV
““Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”” Acts 2:36-38 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/act.2.36-38.ESV
We need only repent and believe it. Repent: turn away from our sins, proclaim Jesus is lord and savior, and we will be forgiven our sins and have life ever after! “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”” Romans 10:9-11 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/rom.10.9-11.ESV
There is hope. Believe in Jesus! ““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.3.16.ESV
It doesn’t matter who you’ve been or what you’ve done, God stands with arms wide open, ready to forgive you. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/1jn.1.9.ESV
Brothers, I am praying that I, that we, make God’s word a daily priority in our homes. I pray that we and our children can cry out in praise to God “Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day… I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation…” Psalms 119:97-101 NKJV
“Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word.” Psalms 119:97-101 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/psa.119.97-101.NKJV
9 – A Replacement of the Scriptures regarding the Family
“Just because there seems to be beautiful worship, the sermon went well, and people seem to be moved is not evidence of real spirituality. I will tell you what the evidence is: the home, the marriages, the families… every once in a while I find a man and a woman who set themselves to rear their family according to Scripture. The difference is overwhelming! … Let me put it to you this way: On what basis are you rearing your children and loving your wife? On what is your family grounded? If you can not start going into Scriptures and showing me how your family is founded on it, I can almost assure you that you are a captive to psychology, sociology, and the whims and lies of this age. You see, you do not have a right to follow all these other things. You have no authority apart from the Word of God… No I am not saying that children cannot come together in groups and be catechized or taught, but if that ever even begins to supplant the ministry of the father in the home, you must rectify this immediately! … Sunday school teachers do not have the authority to righteously discipline your child… ‘He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: But a companion of fools shall be destroyed.’ (Prov. 13:20). Young people need to be with adults so that they stop acting like naive fools, join adulthood, and put away foolishness that leads to their destruction. I am not saying you cannot bring youth together, but I submit that if you do, don’t leave parents out of the picture!” Paul Washer, “Ten Indictments against the modern Church” https://www.heritagebooks.org/products/ten-indictments-against-the-modern-church-washer.html

May 2020, Church parking lots are empty. Gathering and worshipping in Jesus’ name has been deemed non-essential by the civil authorities.
But the killing of unborn children has been deemed essential, and based on how full the parking lot is, they are doing a lot of business. We need to pray!
Prayer, public witness of the church, and proclaiming God’s truth and grace.
Why are we here (in this sin fallen world)? To bear witness to God and His truth and grace. To make disciples of all nations. Matthew 28:18-20
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” Matthew 28:18-20 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/mat.28.18-20.ESV
Why are we here (on the sidewalk outside an abortion clinic)? To bear witness to God and His truth and grace. To love the captive soul and to preach the good news! Romans 10:14-15
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”” Romans 10:14-15 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/rom.10.14-15.ESV

Reform the Church and ReEnchant the World with God’s Truth and Grace!

Brothers, today I am praying for leadership in our households based on love for the Lord. I pray for a love that motivates us to pursue family worship. I also pray we trust in God’s promises. “The generation of the upright will be blessed.” Ps. 112:2b
“The idea of worshiping daily in my home with my wife and children made perfect sense and seemed to have ample biblical warrant to make me feel compelled to take up the practice. If Noah (Genesis 8:20), the Patriarchs (Genesis 12:7; 26:25; 35:1-2), Joshua (Joshua 24:15) and Cornelius (Acts 10) could lead their families in worship, surely by the help of the Holy Spirit I could, too… Leading your family to worship God in your home is a good, God-honoring work. The Lord will honor those who honor Him.” Family Worship for Dummies https://founders.org/2016/07/06/family-worship-for-dummies/
Proverbs for Parents as Teachers…
Instill Confidence
• Proverbs 1:10: “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.”
• Proverbs 1:15: “my son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths.”
• I encourage you to speak words of affirmation and blessings over your family, friends, and neighbors as you work to instill confidence in your children and grandchildren.
Take and Receive Correction
• Proverbs 3:1: “My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments.”
• Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
• Proverbs 3:11: “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof.”
• To give, take, and receive correction requires humility of both the giver and the recipient of correction. Ask the Lord to give you humility and a teachable spirit.
Say No to Temptation
• Proverbs 4:14-15: “Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on.”
• Telling a child “no” without giving a reason does not bear good fruit. As a parent, encourage your child and help them to develop courage. It helps if you speak with them about the consequences of temptation and following evil ways. Teach them God’s Word and the blessing found in obedience to it. Be clear in your reasoning for why we say no to evil and yes to God. Let them know that you are not trying to keep them from something but for something. When we were teaching our sons about saying no to temptation, we shared with them that they need to decide now to refrain from drugs, premarital sex, and other temptations before the temptation arises. While we taught them right from wrong, we knew it needed to be a discussion, and that it would ultimately need to be their decision to say no.
Model Hard Work
• Proverbs 13:4: “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.”
• All of us can make some contribution that makes a positive impact.
Demonstrate Commitment
• Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
• Teach them to make a decision now to bring every situation and endeavor to the Lord, seeking His guidance and will in their lives.

Brothers, today I am praying for boldness in faith, boldness in love, boldness in witness, and boldness in our parenting. “Heavenly Father… Show us how we can obey Your command to ‘fear not’ and to trust in Your faithfulness and power… Fill us with trust in You that surpasses all understanding and free us from the bondage of fear. May Your Spirit fill us with great faith and peace today so that we can do Your will with joy and confidence. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.” – Awake America
Boldness – Fear not!
“Heavenly Father, help us to bring our fears to You, knowing that they will disappear in the light of Your glory. Show us how we can obey Your command to fear not and to trust in Your faithfulness and power — even when it seems that all hope is lost. Thank You that, in the midst of trials, troubles, and difficulties, You will never forsake Your children. Fill us with trust in You that surpasses all understanding and free us from the bondage of fear. May Your Spirit fill us with great faith and peace today so that we can do Your will with joy and confidence. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.” Awake America https://www.awakeamerica2022.com/
Pray for Peoria, America, and western civilization, pray for our children and future generations.
“Heavenly Father, thank You for the Biblical principles upon which Western civilization was founded. As forces in our culture seek to undermine godly values, help us to hold fast to the Truths of Your Word. Prepare me and all missionaries You have called to the West for the work of Your Great Commission. Guard us from being allured by the cultural temptations of comfort, emotionalism, and ease. Give us a burden for the lost in our midst, that we would be bold, humble, and loving ambassadors for You as we go out into our communities. I pray in the name of Jesus. Brothers, I’m praying as Pastor Hunt, the Jamestown Chaplain did in 1607, that we raise up Godly generations to “take the Kingdom of God to all the earth” and dedicate the land “to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” As the people of Christ we have a mission and a purpose. To know God and make Him known. Praise God!
“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.” Psalms 100:1-2 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/psa.100.1-2.NKJV
“We do hereby Dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World.” – Pastor Robert Hunt, the chaplain of Jamestown, knelt upon the cross and offered a prayer of dedication after landing at Virginia May 14, 1607. We have been told that we people are the chance result of impersonal chaos working its dark magic on the universe… The outcome of such thinking? Humanity is disenchanted…
But this is not the biblical account of man… God, the beautiful one, made the human race as his capstone work, his corporeal masterpiece (Ps 8:3-6; 27:4) … The imago dei marks out humanity as an enchanted race. Tragically, humanity disenchanted itself by following the anti-wisdom of the serpent…
If we have assumed… that our children learned what they needed to know simply by ecclesial and cultural osmosis, let us be clear that we may hold this assumption no longer. Now is not the time to play down our doctrine of mankind; now is the time to teach it with confidence and with joy, seeking to be witnesses to fellow sinners and guides to all God’s flock.
“Reenchanting Humanity: a theology of mankind” by Owen Strachan
1 Peter 2:9 (NASB) [9] But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
“The difference between the old and the new education being, in a word, the old was a kind of propagation—men transmitting manhood to men; the new is merely propaganda.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
Brothers, the first few weeks getting back into school in our household can be a bit chaotic. I’m praying today for peace, joy, and purpose. I pray that a purposeful, peaceful, and joyful home would bear witness to the hope that is in us, our Savior Jesus Christ! I also pray that peace, joy, and purpose would endure as part of our household, CC community, and church culture. Blessing, brothers.
“We long to see our children walking in a “sincere faith” (2 Tim. 1:5), “strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim. 2:1), and “thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:17)… Peter called his spiritual children “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation” (1 Pet. 2:9). Families that follow Christ together will be different than the surrounding culture. We will have different priorities, practices, and principles. Embrace those differences and make them part of the family culture. Sunday is great place to start. Make Sunday more than just attending a service—make it an all-day event. Enjoy a sabbath rest together and see how it shapes the rest of your week…” From 5 WAYS TO FOLLOW CHRIST AS A FAMILY https://www.ltw.org/read/articles/2021/05/5-ways-to-follow-christ-as-a-family

What do we do?Pray!-and-We must, by all means, support local farmers and livestock producers!
Confess and repent of sin. Worship the one true God. Declare His glory among the nations. Take dominion and make disciples of all nations!
Chose to buy meat and produce from local producers.
Buy local! It may cost a little more than Walmart or Amazon, but consider: * it is an investment in your neighbor, showing your love toward them * it is an investment in your liberty and the liberty of your children and their children! * It is an investment in your health. Knowing where your food comes from and how it is produced
Share local resources with your church fellowship so whole local fellowships support and pray for local food producers. Perhaps start local food banks and soup kitchens.
Even more so if they are brothers in the faith. If they are in a local church fellowship, then rejoice in paying them a true and fair price that they may prosper and be a blessing to the community.
“You should go into every business relationship with a brother looking to give something additional, rather than to get something additional. Don’t expect discounts because you are a brother. Try, when possible, to give something additional because he’s a brother… This spirit of grace and generosity does not take Mammon out of your hands, but it most certainly takes you out of Mammon’s hands.” Gashmu Saith It: How to build Christian communities that save the world, by Douglas Wilson https://canonpress.com/products/gashmu-saith-it/
Get to know the local owners and operators of farms and livestock personally.
Pray for their well being and success, and let them know you are praying for them.
Start a garden.
Every home have a garden. Like the “victory gardens” of old. Start a farm or livestock herd if you can. Gardener, “those professionals who work the soil but do not as a general rule rely on heavy machinery.”, is # 5 of the top 20 durable trades. https://a.co/ek9jv5Q
“Victory gardens were vegetable gardens planted during the world wars in order to ensure an adequate food supply for civilians and troops. Government agencies, private foundations, businesses, schools, and seed companies all worked together to provide land, instruction, and seeds for individuals and communities to grow food.” https://gardens.si.edu/gardens/victory-garden/
“Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. Take wives and beget sons and daughters.. And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” Jeremiah 29:5-7 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jer.29.5-7.NKJV
Inform your civil magistrate, who is under the authority of Jesus (Romans 13:1,4).
Urge civil magistrates (county board, mayor, governor) to support and protect local agriculture, farms, and livestock producers. Ask your local, state, and national representatives to protect them! As God’s minister they must be informed by the Church of God’s truth and grace. And what is the Church but we the living stones!
If you love your neighbor and do not want to see them fall victim to these wicked schemes of total global control, population control, and mass starvation, then you must be be involved!
I don’t think anyone denies that the climate is changing. The climate does change. It may even change wildly over hundreds and thousands of years like the magnetic poles. I do deny the elites of globalism like the UN and WEF that promise to “fix” the climate if we allow them to take away our personal liberty and property. That is a sin.
“For he is God’s minister to you for good… for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” Romans 13:4 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/rom.13.4.NKJV
Provide for your family, church, and community.
Water, food, shelter, security!
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” I Timothy 5:8 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/1ti.5.8.NKJV
“Mike Brabo, an expert in growing food and surviving under communism, shares his short thoughts in this video and more to come. SHARE his full talk with others so they can be warned of the times ahead. The difference between hoarding and prudence is found in scripture. When men hoard, they amass bigger barns for themselves with no thoughts on God’s purposes (Luke 12:13-24), however, prudent Christians should forsee the evil coming and hide themself (Proverbs 22:3) and store up enough to sustain themselves, and enough to give to those in need (2 Corinthians 8:12).” https://rumble.com/vt3ma7-the-fragile-food-supply-and-food-for-life.html?mref=hqg49&mrefc=2
“When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he assembled his 318 trained men, born in his household, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.”Genesis 14:14 CSB
“The right to life is a good example of what legal historians refer to as an objective right: it is objective in the sense that it exists outside ourselves and is unalienable… The right to life imposes obligations: you must do everything in your power to preserve it.” #SlayingLeviathan https://canonpress.com/products/slaying-leviathan/
Pray for our wives, our children, and our community into the next school year.
Set the foundation of the fear of the Lord in our children’s hearts, minds, and soul.
Proverbs 1:2-4,7 (NASB) [2] To know wisdom and instruction, To discern the sayings of understanding, [3] To receive instruction in wise behavior, Righteousness, justice and equity; [4] To give prudence to the naive, To the youth knowledge and discretion… [7] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;
“This verse affirms that all knowledge begins with the fear of the Lord… for nearly four centuries, Americans believed that the fear of the Lord was the beginning of academic knowledge. For example, America’s first college, Harvard, was established in 1636, and its rules declared:
Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life (John 17:3) and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdom, let everyone seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of Him (Prov. 2, 3). Everyone shall so exercise himself in reading the Scriptures twice a day that he shall be ready to give such an account of his proficiency therein…”
“In 1779, when chiefs from the Delaware Indian tribe brought George Washington three youths to be trained in American schools, Washington reaffirmed that the fear of the Lord was still central to American education. Commending the chiefs for their decision, he told them: ‘You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are. Congress will do everything they can to assist you in this wise intention.’ By George Washington’s own words, what youth learned in America’s schools ‘above all’ was ‘the religion of Jesus Christ’ -that is, ‘the fear of the Lord’” – The Founders’ Bible, 2012, Shiloh Road Publishers
But now, O God, strengthen my hands…
When the work aligns with God’s will, God will see it completed.
There is a quote in the book “Gashmu Saith It” that says “Education is one of the central instruments given to us by God for the establishment and perpetuation of a culture.”
Gashmu, or Geshem as the name is translated in the ESV, is a minor critic of the rebuilding of God’s temple in Nehemiah 6:
“In the same way Sanballat for the fifth time sent his servant to me with an open letter in his hand. In it was written, “It is reported among the nations, and Geshem also says it, that you and the Jews intend to rebel; that is why you are building the wall…” Then I sent to him, saying, “No such things as you say have been done, for you are inventing them out of your own mind.” For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands… So the wall was finished… in fifty-two days. And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.” Nehemiah 6:5-9, 15-16 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/neh.6.5-16.ESV
Continue the work of setting the foundation of the fear of the Lord for our children even in the face of opposition, fear, and doubt!
